This 2-time OUA First Team All-Star and 2-time CIAU All-Canadian has a long list of accolades. To name a few: Mike was the recipient of the university’s Don Cameron Award in 1987 and Male Athlete of the Year in 1988 in addition to being selected as the OUA conference MVP in 1988 and 1989. This quarterback set 8 school records, 4 OUA records in both 1988 and 1989 and established the CIAU’s highest completion percentage in a season in 1988 with 68.5 percent.
