Hall of Fame
The 1989-90 men's basketball team – one of the Gryphons' deepest, most talented hoops squads is the second men's basketball team in the Gryphon Hall of Fame. This team finished the regular season with an 11-3 record, were crowned OUAA West Division and OUAA champions and then went on to earn an CIAU silver medal. With the likes of All-Canadians Tim Mau and Eric Hammond this team was ranked in the top ten all year and led the entire country in defensive stats. Head coach Tim Darling was named the OUAA Coach of the year for leading his team to their first ever OUAA title.
