The Gryphons were undefeated throughout the 1994 season and seized the inaugural OWIAA Rugby title in Hamilton with a 25-3 victory over the Toronto Blues. They advanced to the OWIAA Final with a 19-0 win over the Western Mustangs. Marjorie Nichol was selected Most Valuable Player in the championship game.
