Cassie Campbell – Hockey (1992-1997)

Cassie Campbell made her mark as a defender for the Gryphons from 1992-97. She is a 4-time OWIAA All-Star and a member of the 1994-95 OWIAA Championship team. Campbell was recipient of the W.F. Mitchell award in 1996. In 1995-96, she was the 10th leading scorer in the OWIAA. For much of the past decade, Campbell has undoubtedly been one of the most successful and recognizable players in women’s ice hockey history. The Brampton, Ontario product is a former captain of the Canadian National Women’s Hockey Team and took part in 3 Winter Olympic Games, 7 International Ice Hockey Federation World Women’s Championships, 9 Four Nations Cups and the Torino Ice Tournament. Her teams have won 21 medals in total, including 17 gold medals and 4 silver medals.

Cassie graduated from the University of Guelph in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
