GUELPH, Ont. - On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the U SPORTS office released their latest national rankings for the 2024-25 season. The Gryphons women's swimming team headlines the latest rankings as they enter the U SPORTS Top 10 rankings for the first time this season at No. 10. The final rankings of the season for U SPORTS track and field took place last week, with the Gryphons women's team finishing as the No. 2 ranked team and the men's team at No. 3 in the country. The Gryphons track and field team will wrap up their season this weekend (March 6-8) in Windsor when they look to defend their titles at the 2025 Biosteel U SPORTS Track & Field Championships. The Gryphons women's hockey team finished the season as the No. 4-ranked team in the country as they will drop the puck on their OUA semifinal best-of-three series vs Toronto on Thursday night (March 6).

Women's Swimming – No. 10
For the first time since December 6, 2022, the Gryphons women's swimming team has cracked the U SPORTS Top 10 rankings. The women's swimming team lands into the No. 10 spot in the latest national rankings heading into the 2025 U SPORTS Swimming Championships in Toronto. The Gryphons will send six student-athletes to the meet in Toronto as Ali Bertrim,
Alanna Casasanta,
Liz Greaves,
Jessica Schwindt,
Lauren Anthony and
Hannah Nordquist will represent the University of Guelph at Varsity Pool. The U SPORTS Swimming Championships takes place from the University of Toronto from March 6-8 and live coverage of the three-day event can be streamed online at
