Game 3: Gryphons close out Ottawa pre-season trip with 0-0 draw
Ottawa (Aug. 24, 2014) – The Guelph Gryphons men's soccer team wrapped up their pre-season Ottawa road trip on Sunday with a scoreless draw against the Ottawa Fury. Rookie Braden Taylor received the shutout.
The Gryphons will host the annual Baden Klein Cup pre-season match against the Ryerson Rams on Wednesday (Aug. 27) at the Gryphon Soccer Complex. The Gryphon women' will kick things off at 4:00 p.m. and the men's game will go at 6:00 p.m. at the Gryphon Soccer Complex.
Guelph will open the regular season next weekend at home against the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday (Aug. 30) and then hit the road to play the Brock Badgers on Sunday (Aug. 31).

Game 2: Gryphons offence kicks in; defeating Carleton 3-1
Ottawa (Aug. 23, 2014) - The Guelph Gryphons men's soccer team continued their pre-season action Saturday and found some offence with a 3-1 victory over the Carleton Ravens in Ottawa.
Leading the way for the Gryphons was fourth-year Tim Flynn of Scarborough, Ont. who found the back of the net twice while third-year Jared Agyemang of Brampton, Ont. chipped in with a goal. Carleton scored on a penalty kick to tie Flynn's opener in the first half, Flynn missed a chance for a hat trick when the Carleton goalie saved a penalty kick.
Guelph will wrap up their Ottawa trip Sunday against the Ottawa Fury at 10 a.m.

Game 1: Late goal lifts Montreal over Gryphons in exhibition action
Ottawa (Aug. 22, 2014) – The Gryphon men's soccer dropped a close 1-0 final against Montreal on Friday night in Ottawa in pre-season action.
A late 80th minute long-range effort sneaked past rookie goalie Braden Taylor giving Montreal the one goal victory. The Gryphons missed a couple of clear cut chances and hope to sharpen their finishing for tomorrow's game against host Carleton.
Guelph will play Carleton Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and then the Ottawa Fury on Sunday.
