GUELPH, Ont. – University of Guelph Track & Field head coach Jason Kerr has announced the addition of 38 incoming athletes to the 2026-27 track and field roster.
"This is one of the most talented classes in program history — national team athletes, national medalists, provincial champions, and elite transfers from across Canada and the NCAA. Just as importantly, they're fun, electric personalities who are going to shape the future of Gryphon Track & Field in exactly the way we want: exciting, full of personality, and fiercely competitive," says head coach Jason Kerr, heading into his 14th season in charge of the Gryphons Track & Field program.
This group of athletes covers all event groups including highly accomplished high school athletes and transfer student-athletes.
"We have great depth across every event group, which means we're going to continue to be a force on the team side. But beyond that, we expect this group to produce current and future Canadian national team athletes — something we do year in and year out here at Guelph," says head coach Jason Kerr.

This class brings proven performance across every area of our endurance program, along with the depth and versatility that have long been hallmarks of Gryphon success.
