The Guelph Gryphons and Queen's Gaels, for the fourth time in five seasons, will battle one another for the chance to hoist the Turner Trophy as OUA champions in men's rugby. The Gryphons will look to continue their incredible run as reigning title holders as they seek a program-record 5th consecutive OUA banner, and 8th conference title in program history.
Guelph has knocked off Queen's three times during their current four-peat, including last season's title game, where Guelph erased an early 14-0 deficit to come-from-behind to defeat the Gaels 31-21. The Gryphons defeated the Gaels 42-24 in Kingston on October 10 during the 2025 regular season. The Gryphons earned a spot in the 2025 OUA title game by
defeating the Western Mustangs last week in the OUA semifinals.
The Gaels as the No. 3-seed, defeated the McMaster Marauders in the OUA quarterfinals before travelling to Waterloo and narrowly edging out the Laurier Golden Hawks in their semifinal matchup. Both teams have qualified for the 2025 Canadian University Men's Rugby Championship in Montreal (Nov. 12-16). The women's side is led by

The Gryphons will play in a national semifinal on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2pm, versus the winner of the Brock-Trent matchup.
The Gryphons were in this exact same spot last season but bowed out in the semifinals last season to Queen's as they will look to return to the championship game for the first time since 2021.
