GUELPH, Ont. - On Thursday, July 6, 2023, Ontario University Athletics (OUA) released the 2023-24 men's hockey schedule. The Guelph Gryphons men's hockey team will open their season on the road in North Bay on Saturday, September 23, 2023 when they face off against the Nipissing Lakers. The team will then make their return to the Gryphon Centre on Thursday, October 12, 2023 when they host the Brock Badgers in their home opener. The 2023-24 OUA season will see 19 hockey programs across the province compete over a 28-game regular season for conference superiority, culminating in a four-round postseason for the right to lift the Queen's Cup.

Guelph Gryphons 2023-24 Men's Hockey Schedule

This season, the Gryphons will set their sights on returning to the playoffs after narrowly missing out on the postseason in 2022-23 with a 10-10-7 record, two spots behind the final playoff position in the OUA West. Should the Gryphons make a run in the playoffs and reach the conference championship, they will head down Highway 401 to Toronto for the 2024 U SPORTS National Championship tournament, with the Toronto Metropolitan University Bold serving as hosts for the 4-day event (March 14-17).
