The three-time defending Canadian Rugby Championship title holders Ontario Blues will be taking on their longtime provincial rivals British Columbia Bears at the University of Guelph's Alumni Field at 8:00 p.m. on Sept. 18, 2014.

  The tempo of the match is likely to be quite high, with British Columbia looking to rebound from their two defeats at the hands of Ontario in last year's CRC season (11-7 in Langford, BC and 50-27 in Lindsay, ON).
Both sides have rosters that are packed with Canadian national team players, with a BC squad that features standouts like Connor Braid, Sean Duke, Nathan Hirayama, Jake Ilnicki, Harry Jones, Patrick Kay, Adam Kleeberger, and Conor Trainer, while Ontario's roster features Ray Barkwill, Tom Dolezel, Lucas Hammond, Mike Scholz, Liam Underwood, Jake Webster, Doug Wooldridge, and reigning Canada Men's Sevens Player of the Year John Moonlight. Both sides also feature numerous Canada U20 players on their rosters, with many of these young internationally-capped players likely to crack each team's respective matchday lineup.
The winners of the Sept. 18th match will also take home the Recharge with Milk Cup, awarded annually to the winner of the Ontario-hosted Blues v. Bears match.
