Gryphons play to scoreless draw with Badgers

The Guelph Gryphon women's soccer team fought the Brock Badgers to a 0-0 draw this afternoon in St. Catherine's. The Gryphons record moves to 2-6-5.

Gryphons keeper Victoria Parker (Toronto) stopped eight shots on the contest to earn the clean sheet.

The game's best scoring chance game in the 81st minute when a Brock player made a pass to Kelly Miller near the goal, but Parker came up with a game-saving stop off the Miller shot.

The Gryphons are back in action this weekend on Saturday (Oct. 23) when they travel to play the York Lions for a 1:00 p.m. game.

The team currently sits outside of a playoff position but could still make the post season and will await other results around the OUA to determine their final ranking.
