Gryphon Pizza Day Raises $7,325 in Support of Women’s Athletics

Guelph, Ontario – The University of Guelph Department of Athletics is proud to announce that the 8th Annual Gryphon Pizza Day sponsored by Domino's Guelph, raised an incredible $7,325. Held on the second Tuesday in February each year, Pizza Day is an integral part of the She's Got Game initiative in support of women's athletics scholarships and programs.

Thanks to the tremendous support of the Guelph community and the generous partnership of Domino's Guelph, a total of 1,465 pizzas were sold. For every pizza purchased, $5 was donated directly to support Gryphon women student-athletes.

Now in its eighth year, Gryphon Pizza Day continues to grow as a community-driven event. With this year's total, the event has raised an impressive $42,675 over eight years in support of women's athletics at the University of Guelph.

The funds raised through Pizza Day contribute directly to scholarships and programming that empower Gryphon women student-athletes to excel both academically and athletically. Thank you to Domino's Guelph for their ongoing sponsorship and commitment to supporting women in sport.
