TORONTO, Ont. - On Monday, November 10, 2025, the U SPORTS office released its latest national rankings for the 2025-26 season. The Guelph Gryphons women's hockey team is the lone U of G varsity program in this week's rankings, remaining at No. 4 in the latest national rankings. The Gryphons were
at home for a pair of home games over the weekend where they extended their win streak to five games following shutout wins over the Ottawa Gee-Gees and TMU Bold. On Friday night (Nov. 7) from the Gryphon Centre, the leaders of the OUA West division took on the leaders of the OUA East division as the Gryphons would come away with the victory over the Ottawa Gee-Gees led by a pair of goals from
Katelyn Dance and 23 saves from
Sophie Helfenstein for the shutout. Guelph on the following night (Nov. 8) got a goal from
Maeve Sutherland-Case :29 seconds into the game as they would cruise to a 5-0 win over the TMU Bold as
Alysse Wilkinson in her first start of the season made 25 saves for the shutout. The No. 4-ranked Gryphons (9-1-0) will close out their home portion of the 2025 schedule before the winter break when they host the Windsor Lancers on Friday night (Nov. 14) and Carleton Ravens on Saturday night (Nov. 15).
