Cincinnati, OH – Gryphons men's hockey player Nick Huard (North Bay, ON) has signed with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the East Coast Hockey League. Huard will join the club immediately and look to help the Cyclones gear up for the ECHL playoffs. The Cincinnati Cyclones are affiliated with the Nashville Predators and the Florida Panthers of the NHL.
 
During the 2014-2015 regular season with the Gryphons, Huard led the team with 28 points in 26 games played. This marked the second straight year Huard finished the regular season as the team's leading scorer.  In the postseason, Nick continued to produce, scoring 15 points (eight goals, seven assists) in 12 playoff games. The two-time OUA All-Star was instrumental in helping the Gryphons capture their first OUA title since 1997, while also securing a CIS bronze medal at the 2015 University Cup in Halifax.
