London, ON - After dropping a 13-3 decision in their first game of the day on Saturday (Oct. 10) in London, the Gryphons Women's Lacrosse team bounced back with a much better effort in their second game of the day. Despite being on the wrong end of a 5-3 final score versus McMaster, the Gryphons played with determination and saw drastic improvement from their morning performance. Defensive play for the entire game was outstanding, as the Gryphons worked together to prevent shots, deny cutters and cause turnovers. Second-year attacker
Shannon Pringle (Waterloo, ON) was key factor for the Gryphons thanks to her ability to transition the ball to the offensive end. As a result, Pringle earned herself
Player of the Game honours as she was consistently serving as an outlet, winning the vast majority of ground balls while also contributing one of the Gryphons three goals in the game. Up next for the Gryphons, a Thanksgiving Saturday matchup with the Trent Excalibur on Sunday, October 17 in Hamilton.
