St. Catherine's, Ont. – The Brock Badgers came back from down two sets to beat the Gryphons 3-2.  Set scores were 25-23, 25-19, 26-28, 17-25, 9-15.  With the loss, the Gryphons fall to 6-6 on the season while Brock (7-7) catapults ahead of them in the standings to now sit in second in the OUA West with the Gryphons right behind in third.
 
The Gryphons have now lost four straight and will look to turn things around on Sunday (Jan. 18) when they travel to Ottawa to take on the Gee-Gees at 2pm.  Commenting on the loss to Brock, head coach Paul Funk said, "This is a match that we should have won, but we lacked the killer instinct as a group and the individual confidence to finish.  We reverted to a non-risk taking approach in the second half of the match and stopped executing at a high enough level to win."
