The first set was a back and forth affair until the midway point, but an 11-3 run by Windsor allowed them to take the set 25-16. Set two was a reversal of fortunes with Guelph getting out to an early lead and powering through for the 25-10 win. The Gryphons started fast again in the third set but Windsor battled back from an early deficit to make it close in the middle. From there, Guelph went on a late run pulling away to win 25-15. Set four was an even set with Guelph leading 16-14 at the technical timeout. The Gryphons again managed to open up a 5 point lead at 22-17 and finished the match with a 25-18 win.

Coach Funk said, "We started slow again tonight which is something we haven't been able to fix in our most recent matches, but I was proud of how the team responded tonight. Kristen Almhjell was solid in anchoring our defense and passing tonight and when we started mixing up our angles and speeds, we were able to get the points we needed."

Offensively, Guelph was led by Julie Gordon (Barrie, Ont.) with 17 points (16 kills, 1 ace) followed by Alicia Combe-Dingwall (St. Catharine's, Ont.) with 10 (9 kills, 1 block) and Marieka Ouimette (Spencerville, Ont.) (6 kills, 2 aces, 1 block) and Devon Jones (Rockwood, Ont.) (7 kills, 2 blocks) with 9 each.

The Gryphons will conclude their schedule tomorrow at home against the Western Mustangs starting at 1pm.
