Gryphons drop 6-1 decision to Ryerson

TORONTO – After an evenly played first period the Ryerson Rams went on an offensive outburst in the second and third period to defeat the Guelph Gryphons men's hockey team 6-1 Thursday night in Toronto.
 
Second year Brett Appio who scored the lone Gryphon goal in the first period, only two minutes into the start of the game led the Gryphons. A total of six different Rams scored in the win.
 
Adam Courchaine picked up the win for the Rams stopping 26 of 27 shots in his three periods of action. Guelph's Keith Hamilton allowed six goals on 28 shots in the loss.
 
The Gryphons continue their road schedule with a game against the Windsor Lancers on Saturday (Oct. 26) at 7:30 p.m.
