Third-year left side Julie Gordon played outstanding on Saturday as the Guelph Gryphon women’s volleyball team came up with a huge 3-1 (25-22, 25-12, 12-25, 25-18) upset over the previously undefeated and CIS No. 4 York Lions at the W.F. Mitchell Centre in Guelph. The Barrie, Ont. native recorded 18 kills, one ace and one block assist in the win.  Gordon, an Arts student currently sits ninth in the OUA in total kills this season with 138.
