Andrea Seccafien, Cross Country
Andrea Seccafien of Guelph, Ont. captured the CIS gold medal this past weekend at the CIS Cross Country Championships hosted in London.  The fourth year led her Gryphon team to one of the most dominate performances in team history. She won the race by seven seconds over teammate Carise Thompson and in the process helped the Gryphon women win their eighth consecutive national title.  For her performance she was named the CIS Cross Country Athlete of the Year and a First Team All-Canadian.
