Position: Client Services Representative
What are you responsible for in your position?
As a CS staff, I’m responsible for registering clients for memberships and activities, answering questions and giving directions. I also organize the towel service offered and issue various fitness equipment to our clients.
Why do you love working for the UofG, Department of Athletics?
I love working here because the environment is so warm and welcoming and as a student it can be hard to balance school and a job and CS makes it easy with a flexible schedule. I also love the active atmosphere and the constant talk about sports!
What was your proudest moment in this job?
My proudest moment was and continues to be seeing the same clients week-to-week and their progress and determination in attaining personal fitness goals!

I’m proud to work for the best University in Canada because at CS I feel like I am a part of the Gryphon community. Client services representatives are the first people you see when you walk into the Athletics Centre and I love being the first impression people get of this great school!
What have you learned from this job?
I have learned so many new skills such as better communication skills in tricky situations and different ways to approach problems which I will carry along with me into my future work endeavours!
If you could give advice to students looking for a campus job what would it be?
My advice to student’s looking for a campus position is to be yourself! There is a place for everyone in athletics and I'm just lucky to have found my place in Client Services!
