GUELPH, Ont. – On Thursday night (Feb. 5), the University of Guelph men's hockey team came through with an important 3-1 home win over the TMU Bold on the 9th edition of the annual 'Aggies Night' game presented by Syngenta Inc. A crowd of 1,016 in the Gryphon Centre Arena saw
Dylan Hudon scoring the breakthrough goal midway through the 3rd period to put Guelph ahead 2-1 before
Griffin Wilson iced the game with an empty net goal with 0.2 ticks left on the clock to seal the team's 14th win of the season.
The Gryphons could not have asked for a better to start to the 9th edition of 'Aggies Night' as
Cole Craft set up
Ethan Doyle on a 2-on-1, as Doyle fired home the game's opening goal just :49 seconds into the game to put Guelph in front. TMU later in the period would tie it up on a goal from William Portokalis.
