The Gryphons returned to the ice on Saturday afternoon to take on the Waterloo Warriors looking for a bounce back performance. The visitors got out to the early lead 6:19 into the game as Dylan Hudon blocked the point shot and started the Gryphs on the 2-on-1 as he passed it off the Kaeden Johnston who went forehand to his backhand and into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead. Guelph would add on to that lead later in the period when Anthony Tabak tipped home the Nathan Allensen point shot on the power play goal. After the Warriors scored on the man advantage midway through the 3rd, Ethan Casper would come through for Guelph as he scored his first career OUA goal on the man advantage to restore his team's two goal advantage. The Warriors would score to trim the deficit down to 3-2 but Ethan Doyle would put an end to the Waterloo comeback effort as he scores his 4th of the season into the empty net to seal the 4-2 victory for Guelph.
