The Gryphons attack leads them to a straight sets (25-23, 25-17, 25-18) over the York Lions on Saturday afternoon from the Tait McKenzie Centre. Guelph was led by fourth-year left side
Briar Crerar who led the team with 13 points and a match-high 11 kills.
Maia Dan finished the match with 12 points and 10 kills in the victory. The Gryphons attacking was effective, finishing the match with 42 kills to the Lions 23 as
Sophie Sommerfeldt played a major role in the attack game, assisting on 34 of her team's 42 kills on the day.

The Gryphons played their final regular season road game as they defeated the Lions in straight sets (25-22, 25-14, 25-23) to match their season-high win streak to four matches. Guelph was once again led by

Maia Dan. Crerar, the Pickering native finished the afternoon with 14 kills and 14 digs while Dan, the environmental sciences major with 13 points, 10 kills and 10 digs. The Gryphon defence was outstanding as they had 68 digs as a team with libero
Payton King leading the way 15. Guelph's front line was also fantastic with 8 blocks in the win led by
Brooke Preszcator's 4 solo blocks and
Nikina Bear-Lowen's 3 solo blocks.
The Gryphons (10-6) have four games remaining in the regular season with all of them at the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre as they'll host the TMU Bold this weekend on January 30 and 31.
