WATERLOO, Ont. – The Gryphons women's basketball team continued their winning ways, picking up a 69-54 road win over the Waterloo Warriors on Friday night (Nov. 28) at the University of Waterloo. With the win, the Gryphons improve to 10-2 on the season and remain in 1st-place in the OUA West Division standings.
Christina Morra led the way for the Gryphons with 17 points and 14 rebounds, while
Hannah Bourdon added 15 points, 11 rebounds and 6 steals. After trailing by three points after the opening quarter of play, the Gryphons dominated the middle two quarters of the game, including ending the 3rd quarter on a 7-0 run to take a 12-point lead in to the 4th. The Gryphons (10-2) will now head into the holiday/exam break winners of seven straight games. The Gryphons will return to the court in the new year, where they will host the Western Mustangs (6-5) on Friday, January 9, 2026 (6pm) at the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre.
