HAMILTON, Ont. - The Gryphons men's volleyball team saw their four-game win streak come to an end, suffering back-to-back losses to the McMaster Marauders over the weekend at Burridge Gymnasium in Hamilton. On Friday night (Nov. 21), the Gryphons got off to a quick start, taking each of the first two sets, but the Marauders would storm back to take the match in five sets. The Gryphons and Marauders were back at it again the following night (Saturday, Nov. 22), where McMaster would edge the Gryphons in three, tightly-contested sets (23-25, 22-25 & 22-25). With the two losses at McMaster, the Gryphons record on the season drops to 4-4, while the Marauders improve to 3-5 on the season. The Gryphons will now return to their home court to host the undefeated Windsor Lancers (8-0) on Friday nigth (Nov. 28 - 7:30pm) and Saturday night (Nov. 29 - 6pm).
