GUELPH, Ont. – The beginning of the 2025-26 OUA playoff season is upon us, with this week seeing the Guelph Gryphons baseball team in postseason action.

Hastings Stadium – Guelph, ON
Round Robin: Gryphons vs McMaster (Friday @ 10am) & vs Brock (Friday @ 5pm)
Semifinal: No. 2-seed vs No. 3-seed (Saturday @ 10am)
Final: No. 1-seed vs Semifinal winner (Saturday @ 1:30pm)
Following an impressive regular season campaign, the Gryphons baseball team is set to host the OUA Playoffs from Hastings Stadium. During the regular season, the Gryphons finished with an OUA best 10-2 record in conference play. Guelph will look to book their ticket to the final four and earn a spot in the 2025 OUA Baseball Championship Tournament in Kitchener (Oct. 10-11), but first will need to qualify through the three-team OUA West Regional Qualifier. The McMaster Marauders and Brock Badgers will come to Guelph and compete with the Gryphons to determine the regional winner. All three teams will play one another on Friday (Oct. 3) to determine seeding, as the team with the best record will earn a bye into the final on Saturday afternoon while the other two teams will play to see who moves on to the finals. The Gryphons went 2-0 against the Marauders and Badgers when they met earlier in the season. The Gryphons baseball team will look to get over the hump in the OUA West Regional Qualifiers where they last made past this stage in 2022, coincidentally it was the same year they last hosted a regional qualifier.
