February 2024 - (Guelph, Ont.) - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph and the University of Guelph, Department of Athletics are proud to announce the return of the Gryphons Bowl for Kids fundraiser. This is the first time the event has returned since COVID. Prior to 2020 this Gryphon event ran every March for 11 years, dating back to 2009. The 2024 edition of the Bowl For Kids' Sake fundraiser is set to take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
To date, the Guelph Gryphons have raised an astonishing $102,168 for the local charity.
ABOUT CAMPAIGN:
Bowl for Kids is back! Join us at Splitsville in Guelph for the return of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph's longest-running community event.
Recruit a Team of 4-6 Bowlers and sign up today! Registration is free (pizza is included!) and all teams are encouraged to raise funds in support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs that support the healthy development of more than 600 local youth. The Gryphon goal is to raise a total of $10,000.
Tuesday, March 19th: Guelph Gryphons Varsity teams, this is your day! Join us from 4:00-6:00pm as we celebrate one of the most impactful ongoing relationships between student-athletes and BBBSG!

- FUNdraise: Fundraising can be easy, and so impactful! We're here to support and help you reach your team goals! Teams are encouraged to raise at least $600 - that's $100 per person participating!

- Have Fun! Enjoy 2 hours of bowling, free pizza and drinks, all while supporting the community and making a BIG impact on the lives of children in the community. Remember to bring any offline pledges (cash, cheques) with you on bowling day.
