WATERLOO, Ont. – The Guelph Gryphons men's hockey team suffered a 2-0 road loss Thursday night at the Waterloo Recreation Complex versus the Laurier Golden Hawks. The Hawks (3-7-0-0) jumped out to an early lead with a goal 3:23 into the opening period when Laurier's fourth-year defenceman Mac Clutsam beat Evan Cormier to give the hosts an early 1-0 lead. It would stay that way until midway through the final period when the Hawks pushed the lead to 2-0 on a goal from Jeremy Pullara.
