Gryphons defeat Ryerson Rams to stay undefeated


 
Guelph, Ont. (September 13, 2014) Gryphon Baseball moved to 4-0 on Saturday following a pair of doubleheader afternoon wins over the Ryerson Rams by scores of 14-6 and 11-4.
 
In game one the Gryphons starter Casey Bouillere-Howard threw seven innings giving up six hits while striking out nine.
 
Leading the Gryphon offence which was charged up collecting 13 hits in total was Matthew Forer who was 3-for-3 with four RBI's while Wes Romak tallied  two-for-three with three RBI's.
 
In game two the Gryphons defeated Ryerson 11-4 in another offensive outburst from the Gryphons with a total of 11 hits.
 
Jeff Snelgroff tossed four innings giving up four hits, two runs and five strikeouts. Leading the offence was Peter Ricciardi, Matthew Forer and Wes Romak each scoring two runs.
 
Up next the Gryphons play a doubleheader against the York Lions in Toronto.
