Waterloo, Ont. (Oct. 26, 2014) - The Gryphons stepped on the field with heads and spirits high to play the reigning 3-year OUA gold medalist Western Mustangs team on Sunday. Guelph played well with excellent midfield transitions, confident ball movement on attack and strong defensive play, which kept the Mustangs at bay. The final score of 18-6 does not reflect the level of play exhibited by the Gryphon girls, who will go into OUAs next weekend ready to fight their way to play the Mustangs again in the gold-medal game.
