On Day One at the 2012 OUA Baseball Championships hosted by Brock University, the defending Champion University of Toronto Varsity Blues came from behind to defeat the first place Brock Badgers by the score of 6-5 in the opening game.
In Game Two, the second place Guelph Gryphons defeated the third place Western Mustangs by the score of 1-0. Guelph ace Lucas Borges went the distance striking out a season-high 12 in a complete game shutout.Â
The Gryphons will now play in their second game of the championships on Saturday at 1:00pm vs Toronto.
