GRYPHON MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Dan McMullan, a fourth-year pitcher from Burlington, Ont. helped the Gryphons to a 4-0 weekend. The Gryphons moved their season record to 7-6 after defeating the Laurier Golden Hawks (8-5 & 2-1) and Queens Gaels (17-6 & 9-2) in doubleheader games on the weekend. In Guelph’s closest game of the week, McMullan threw a complete game over the top ranked Golden Hawks in a 2-1 win. McMullan threw seven innings allowing only one run on seven hits with one strikeout.
