Fourth-year Ross Proudfoot of Sudbury, Ont. captured two medals in leading the Guelph Gryphons men’s track and field team to a second-place finish at the 2014 CIS Championships. 
 
The Human Kinetics student kicked off the meet with a gold medal in the 3000m race on Friday with a time of 8:15.88. He followed that up the next day with a silver finish in the 1500m with a time of 3:50.30.
 
The Gryphons finished second overall just six points shy of the banner winning York Lions
