Day 2 of the CIS Championships started off with a Gold medal thanks to fourth year Toronto native Jared Skeath. The Marine & Freshwater Biology major broke his own school record in the Men's Weight Throw by coming up with a huge throw of 20.53 metres. With that effort, Skeath took home the Gold in emphatic fashion by winning the competition by more than two meters over the next closest competitor. Jared's efforts were instrumental in helping the Gryphons men's team secure a 2^nd place finish in the overall team standings.
