POWERADE MALE GRYPHON ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Gvora, a third-year men’s hockey player from Thunder Bay, Ont. was outstanding for the Gryphons this past week as Guelph posted a pair of home victories over Waterloo and Laurier.  The 6-foot-1 forward opened the two-game set on Thursday night picking up a hat-trick and contributing two assists for a massive five-point effort in a 5-3 win over Waterloo then followed up on Saturday helping the Gryphons to a 4-2 win over Laurier.  The Gryphons are riding a four-game win streak and sit with a 14-10-2 regular season record.
