Gryphon Women's Athlete of the Week:
Jade Sullivan, a second-year midfielder from Peterborough, Ont. led the women’s lacrosse team this past weekend to a 3-0 record. Sullivan led the team in scoring with seven goals, including two hat-tricks and one assist. She dominated the midfield forcing many turnovers from the opposition. In the teams 16-1 victory over UOIT she netted a hat-trick, the following day against the perennial powerhouse Laurier Golden Hawks, the Gryphons fought back to a 12-9 victory in which Sullivan scored her second hat-trick of the weekend. In the last game of the weekend Sullivan scored a goal in the Gryphons their third straight win (8-5) over Toronto.
