Sarah won the weight throw at the Guelph New Year Opener with a throw of 17.00 metres. The defending CIS bronze medalist is currently ranked first in the CIS. Sarah was also a key contributor to the Gryphon women's team last year that was crowned OUA Track & Field Champions, as she won a gold medal in the weight throw at the Toronto Track and Field Centre with a distance of 17.22 metres.
