Evan Van Moerkerke, Swimming
First year Evan Van Moerkerke from Tillsonburg, Ont. won all four of his individual events this past weekend at the Divisional Championships hosted at the University of Guelph. The rookie speedster won the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 50m backstroke and the 100m backstroke. He became the fastest all-time 50 freestyler in Gryphon history breaking the 1990 title which was held by Jeff Sumner.
