POWERADE GRYPHON MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Thomas Kiriakou, Men’s Hockey

Thomas Kiriakou, a second-year centre from Richmond Hill, Ont. recorded a four-point weekend to lead his Gryphon men’s hockey team to a 2-0 week with victories over RMC and Queens. The History major started with a goal and an assist in the 6-3 win over the Queens Gaels on Friday night and then added two assists in Guelph’s 7-3 victory over RMC on Saturday at the Gryphon Centre. Kiriakou was also over 60% on face-offs this weekend, as the Gryphon won their 8^th straight home game, dating back to October 8.
