Tim Flynn, Men’s Soccer
Fourth-year men’s soccer player from Scarborough, Ont., is this week’s Gryphon male athlete of the week. The Landscape Architecture student scored a goal in both Gryphon games in the first weekend of the season. His strong midfield play and cool finishing helped set up a 5-1 home win against Waterloo on Saturday and a 1-1 tie on the road to Brock Sunday giving the Gryphons a 1-0-1 record to open conference play. Flynn also tallied two assists on the weekend, hitting the cross bar and came close to adding to his goal tally.
