Rookie point guard Daniel Dooley scored a season-high 16 points on Saturday helping the Gryphon men’s basketball team to an 87-77 victory over the Waterloo Warriors on the road. The Burlington, Ont. native shot 7-for-12 from the field and grabbed three rebounds to lead all Gryphons in scoring. Earlier in the week the first-year tallied 11 points in the Gryphons 83-67 loss to CIS No. 10 Windsor.
 
Dooley leads all rookies on the team this season in scoring averaging 8.3 points per game in 14 games played. The Gryphons are currently 4-10 on the season, sitting fifth in the OUA West currently in a playoff position as the top six teams qualify.
