Fourth year golfer Chris Hemmerich of Kitchener, Ont. successfully defended his OUA Championship title this week at Grey Silo Golf Course in Waterloo. The Marketing major won back-to-back OUA titles shooting consecutive rounds of two-under par 69 leaving him as the only player to finish under par at the entire event. His four-under total of 138 was four shots ahead of the second place finisher. He was named an OUA all-star and helped his Gryphon team to a bronze medal finish. This week he was also announced to the Team Canada 2014 National Team.
