Third year Jazz Lindsey (Markham, Ont.) is this week’s male Gryphon athlete of the week. Lindsey was a key factor in keeping the Gryphons undefeated record in tact, leading his team to a 38-12 victory over the Toronto Varsity Blues and was named the Sportsnet player of the game on Saturday. The 6-foot, 185-pound pivot completed 21-of-34 passes for 297 yards and four touchdowns, with no interceptions. The Sociology student carried the ball three times for 25 yards, helping the team to their highest offensive scoring mark this season. The Gryphons move to 3-0 on the season and host the McMaster Marauders this weekend for their 2013 Homecoming Game.
