Brittany Benn of Napanee, Ont. is this week's Gryphon Female Athlete of the Week. This past Saturday the Gryphon women’s rugby team earned a 109-0 Gryphon quarterfinal win over the Brock Badgers. The senior has been scoring tries all season, adding another four on Saturday to her impressive total of 20 on the season.  Benn put in some impressive hits on the opposition and rucked well when the need arose.  Her speed and agility were too much for the Brock Badgers and she zigged and zagged through the defence seemingly untouched.  Britt played both outside centre and fly half in the quarterfinal victory as the Gryphons remain undefeated. The Gryphons move onto the semifinals where they will host the McMaster Marauders this Saturday (Oct. 20) at 1:00p.m.
