Third year golfer Chris Hemmerich of Kitchener, Ont. was sensational this past week capturing the individual men’s title at the OUA Championships, played at Grey Silo in Waterloo. The fourth-year Management Economics student shot lights out on back-to-back days in tough weather conditions to earn the gold medal, firing a two-day total 5-under, 137 (70-67) to grab top spot. He was named an OUA first-team all-star and also helped lead his team to an overall bronze medal.
