Fourth-year veteran attack player Amy Johnson of Ajax, Ont. is this week’s Gryphon women’s athlete of the week.  The honours Science student was a consistent offensive threat throughout the weekend of play leading the Gryphons goal scoring with an impressive six goals and one assist. The defending OUA silver medalist Gryphons opened the weekend with a 1-1 record defeating the Varsity Blues 15-2 and then dropping a very close 9-7 game to the Laurier Golden Hawks.
