ERICA BAIN, WOMEN’S SOCCER
Fourth year central striker Erica Bain of Niagara Falls, Ont. is this weeks Gryphon women’s athlete of the week.  The women’s soccer team opened the 2012 season with a 1-1 record, defeating Waterloo 1-0 and falling to Laurier 3-2. Bain scored a goal against Laurier and in both games was an excellent target player and worked tirelessly in closing down opposing players.
