Alan Koch - Head Coach Men's Soccer

Alan Koch

Alan Koch was named head coach of the University of Guelph men's soccer program on January 27, 2025. Koch, a native of Durban, South Africa, arrives at the University of Guelph with an extensive coaching background at both the professional and collegiate levels, including having previously held a head coaching position in Major League Soccer (MLS) with FC Cincinnati. Koch currently works in New Zealand, where he oversees the Olé Football Academy and Western Suburbs Football Club. The 2025-26 season will mark his first season with the Gryphons.
