University of Guelph Athletics

Sam is originally from the UK having just recently moved to Canada. He holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Sport Coaching & M.Sc in Sport Coaching from Leeds Beckett University. As well as holding the UEFA 'B' Licence & CSA National 'B' Licence. He has a multitude of coaching & coach education experiences. Most recently as the head coach of the University of York Women's soccer program in the UK where he received the coach of the year award for 2017 and guided the team to promotion and then their highest ever finish. Sam also worked at Premier League football club Hull City FC as an academy coach. Sam currently lives in Guelph with his wife Nicole.
